Therefore, all Health Labs Care supplements are tested for mold, yeast, bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Salmonella, as well as their PAH (total benzo[a]anthracene, benzo[b]fluoranthene, chrysene, and benzo[a]pyrene) and heavy metal (lead, cadmium, mercury) content. 

Each batch of every supplement is tested in an independent, certified laboratory: J. S Hamilton Poland, which complies with the highest quality standards, as confirmed by the Polish Center for Accreditation and by its continued membership in Polish and international associations such as FOSFA (Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations) and GAFTA (Grain and Feed Trade Association).

When selecting probiotics, it is a good idea to pay attention to the number of bacteria of each strain, rather than the number of different strains. What also matters is whether individual strains and their particular blend have been tested for effectiveness. The ProbioticMe IBS dietary supplement is a single-strain product. We use NORDBIOTIC™ lyophilized Bacillus coagulans BC300 bacteria cells, which produce clinically proven results in terms of alleviating IBS symptoms. 

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using the product.

We have created dedicated dietary supplements for pregnant and breastfeeding women called LittleMe 1st Trimester, LittleMe 2nd and 3rd Trimester, and OmegaMe Prenatal. 

The product is intended for adults.

You may experience such symptoms during the first 10–14 days of taking the probiotic. However, if you see no improvement after that time and the symptoms do not subside, stop taking the supplement. 

Take all dietary supplements as instructed on the label and on the box. We recommend that you always take our supplements after a meal to minimize the risk of any gastrointestinal discomfort. For one hour after taking probiotics, you should not consume hot foods and drinks, coffee and strong tea, alcohol, or fizzy drinks (especially acidic ones).

We did our best to make the composition of the ProbioticMe IBS dietary supplement optimal. However, everyone has a different intestinal microbiota, so selecting the right bacterial strain — and thus, the right dietary supplement — is a very individual matter. If you notice that the product with a particular combination of strains does not work for you (pay attention to what your body is telling you), you probably need a product with a different composition. See how your body reacts — if diarrhea or any other gastric symptoms become more frequent or more severe, take smaller doses of the supplement or temporarily discontinue treatment.

Yes, it can be used both during and after antibiotic treatment, but it is best to consult your use of the product with your doctor. 

Just to be safe, always wait at least 2 hours after taking your medication (for example antibiotics) before you take any dietary supplement. Do not combine ProbioticMe IBS with medication or dietary supplements that can kill good probiotic bacteria (e.g. the HealMe dietary supplement).

The ProbioticMe IBS dietary supplement contains highly stable bacterial strains and does not require special storage conditions. However, to help the product maintain its properties, we do recommend storing it in the fridge.

For SIBO diagnosis, you should see a gastroenterologist, who will take your medical history and order a breath test. It is best to undergo a test that measures both hydrogen and methane levels in your breath, as the hydrogen test on its own may not be reliable if you have excess methane levels. Then, the result of the test should be consulted with your doctor who will decide on next steps and treatment.

If you notice symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, abdominal cramps, bloating, bubble gut, or frequent belching, which intensify especially in stressful situations, it is worth seeing a gastroenterologist. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is diagnosed using the so-called Rome IV Diagnostic Criteria, which include: abdominal pain present for at least 1 day a week in the past 3 months (if symptoms have been observed for at least 6 months before diagnosis), accompanied by at least 2 out of 3 symptoms associated with: bowel movements, changes in the appearance and texture of stools, and changes in the frequency of bowel movements. You must remember that there is no single test that will clearly diagnose IBS. Symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome are similar to those of other diseases, so diagnosing it can be difficult and may require further testing to rule out other diseases one by one.

Finding a single, specific cause can be very difficult, so treating IBS focuses on relieving its symptoms. It is a disorder involving both the intestines and the brain, and chronic stress is a common cause. Therefore, undertaking physical activity and implementing relaxation techniques, such as yoga or meditation, is certainly worth considering. Following consultation with a nutritionist, it may also be helpful to introduce a low-FODMAP diet and probiotic supplementation (remember not to introduce probiotics on your own, as some strains may actually intensify unpleasant symptoms).

In cases of IBS and SIBO, nutritionists often recommend low-FODMAP diet, which involves eliminating or limiting the consumption of easily fermenting products. To boost its results, make sure to maintain good eating habits: eat slowly, carefully chew every bite, keep breaks between meals, and try to avoid snacking.

Choosing the right probiotic product is an individual matter, but in most cases of IBS (and SIBO), single-strain probiotics are recommended. To get the best results, when choosing a dietary supplement with probiotic bacteria, it is worth checking whether the particular strain contained in it has been tested in IBS treatment.
